Build Self-Awareness: Understanding Inspiration

Build Self-Awareness: Understanding Inspiration

Who inspires you?

Inspiration.

The process of being mentally stimulated or to feel something.

This is often the lifeblood of the creative.

Again, I ask, who inspires you?

Take that person.

Take all of who they are for you and how you see them.

What about them are you inspired by?

What about the way they speak?

The way they act?

The way they think?

The way they create?

The way others engage them?

Or the way they engage others?

What about their energy are you inspired by?

You are not inspired by who someone else is.

You are inspired by who someone else is for you.

Your lens of your life affects the way you see everything.

The person you are inspired by inspires you for one reason...

You are likely inspired by the traits and characteristics in you that you see in someone else.

However, these traits and characteristics in you may not be as expressed in you as they are in the person that inspires you.

And thus, you are inspired.

Inspired, or in-spirit, of what you see before you.

It is one thing to have conscious awareness of this.

It is another to proactively allow these unexpressed pieces to come out of you.

They are in you and want to come out, but for some reason, your mental habits don't allow it.

Maybe it is to be more compassionate.

To communicate better.

To have charisma.

To feel a sense of peace and contentment in your life.

To be loved or to love.

To be authentic.

More often than not, there is a feeling or energy you felt around this inspired person... and that is what is attempting to come out of you.

I invite you to let it be free.
