Most people see the future as a place far away.
Some place "out there" separated only by time.
This place in the future can be a place far far away.
But it doesn't need to be.
The question you must ask is:
What does your future get you?
What is possible in the future that may not be possible now?
Who would you have become in your ideal future?
Imagine you are at some point in the future looking back on the previous year.
What do you feel?
What do you see around you?
What do you hear from others?
Who are you at that point in time?
When you know these answers, the shortcut is to create it.
Stop seeing the future as a place "out there."
Stop seeing the future as a place far far away that you must get to or arrive at.
Instead, see the future as a place that you can choose to live into.
Make the future a place that you choose to come from.
And before you know it, you'll begin creating what you thought existed in your future.
Because you learned that the answer is not outside of you.
It is within you.
