When We Become Adults

When We Become Adults

When we become adults.

An idea that a well-known entrepreneur recently asked themselves, publicly.

It is something that they said they would never become.

In the classic defiant entrepreneurial nature, it became so.

I am here to tell you that there is no such thing as an "adult."

To focus on what an adult is can be to disempower self by language.

And to dishonor what is true.

What is true is that you decide what an adult is.

You make meaning out of this sound that comes out of your mouth.

Constructed by 5 letters.

A-d-u-l-t.

And in that meaning, either you choose to move towards it or away from it.

What does being "an adult" mean to you?

Did you make the meaning attractive or unattractive?

Do you move towards it or away from it?

Do the characteristics of the meaning you created serve you in where you are going?
